As the gunfight between government forces and militants in Adkhara village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district is underway, a youth named Mudasir Ahmed, a resident of Wuyan Imam Sahab village of the district was injured after clashes broke out near the encounter site.
Reports said that locals who had gathered near the encounter site, clashed with the mixed contingents of forces, resulting in bullet injuries to Mudasir.
Mudasir was soon evacuated to hospital for the treatment. Earlier, minor clashes were reported from Anantnag areas.
In the gunfight, three militants were so far killed and army personnel was injured.
