Retired High Court judge, Justice M L Koul, heading the judicial commission set up to probe the killing of four persons in firing by paramilitary CRPF in South Kashmir’s Shopian district will visit the town on Saturday to record the statements of the witnesses.
Retired High Court judge, Justice M L Koul told CNS that he is going to visit Shopian on Saturday. “I can provide you details only after visiting Shopian on Saturday,” he said.
Pertinently, Government has ordered a time bound inquiry into Shopian incident while Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah had informed the Legislative Assembly that facts would be made to public after the completion of ‘time bound’ inquiry.
