Body of a lady was recovered from an apple orchid in Hib Dangerpora, Sopore in the jurisdiction of police station Dangiwacha this morning. The body was later identified that of Nayeema Mohideen daughter of Ghulam Mohideen Ganie resident of Bonapora, Bahrampora. The deceased was working in a private school.
According to police spokesman, Police has lodged an FIR No: 81/ 2013 under section 302/RPC in police station Dangiwacha and investigation was started. The body was sent for post mortem and after completion of all medico-legal formalities the body was handed over to next of kins for last rites.
Spokesman further added that during the investigation, police has detained one person for questioning.
