KL Report

SRINAGAR

Senior Congress leader and Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Taj Mohi-u-Din Sunday said that it is totally wrong to claim that one amoung four youth killed in Shopian was a Bihari labour. Taj told CNS that he was a Lashkar militant who was involved in number of killings.

He said that police has ample proof to prove that he was not a Bihari labout but a dreaded Lashkar militant, Haroom in whose possession police has recovered a mobile along with sim card which shows that slain youth was in touch with Lashkar outfit.

“We know that people are angry and are not willing to accept the facts but the reality is that one of youth was a Lashkar militant and not a Bihari labour. Police has sufficient proof to prove this point,” he said.

Taj Mohi-u-Din told CNS that it is still a mystery what two youth about whom police has no past records were doing with that militant. “Police has said that three youth killed in the firing have no past militancy record but the fact is that they were killed because they were accompanying the militant,” he said adding that probe has already been ordered and everything would be clear once the report be completed.
