A team of Ministers and Legislators comprising Peerzada Mohammad Syed, Mir Saifullah, Nasir Aslam Wani and Bashir Ahmad Magray who visited Shopian under the instructions of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to take stock of the situation and interact with people, Wednesday reported back to the Chief Minister and apprised him of the prevailing situation in Shopian.
They presented details of the people’s demands which included compensation.
The Chief Minister gave directions to the District Development Commissioner, Shopian for preparing a comprehensive report for compensation to the affected.
