The one-man commission probing Gagrin killings in South Kashmir’s Shopian town allegedly at the hands of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) last year Wednesday directed the Counsel for the CRPF to appear before the Commission along with his witnesses on Thursday (March 13) so that their statements are recorded.
Retired Justice M.L.Koul who heads the one-man commission told CNS that Additional SP Shopian stated before the Commission that some officer of the rank of DySP has been sent to Chandigarh to collect the FSL report and the mobile phones.
“The statement of one of the petitioners Ghulam Nabi Mir has been recorded and he does not want to lead anymore evidence on his behalf. The statements of three doctors have also been recorded and the one Adil Rehman Wachkoo regarding whom the certificates were issued by the doctors was identified by them,” Koul said.
