President Doctors Association Kashmir, Dr Nisar-ul- Hassan Sunday in a statement said that the killings of  four civilian at shopian and shooting one person at Budshah chowk by government forces is brutal and barbaric . “This outrageous act  is state backed to suppress the sentiment of kashmiris. The unprovoked firing at civilians is safe to conclude that Indian forces have a license to kill kashmiris.”

“The statement from police that the slain youth were antinational is painful. Police has to realize that they are being used by Indian state for killing their own kashmiri  brethren. These killings  are an eye opener  for all of us that nobody is safe in Kashmir.”

“People should stop stigmatizing mujahidin who have infused a new life to our sacrosanct movement and kept it alive. We should be proud of them, as they are our real heroes. Killing of mujahidin should be protested in a similar way as that of a civilian. Any killing is intolerable and unacceptable as it is a kashmiri dying whose only fault is that he is fighting against oppression.”

“This is the responsibility of international communities to take cognizance of this bloodbath and pressurize Indian state to end human rights violation in Kashmir.”

“These killings shall not deter our resolve in fact motivate and give impetus to take the ongoing struggle to its logical end.”
