A complete shutdown is being observed Pulwama town and its adjoining areas to pay homage to slain militant Omais Ahmad Sheikh on his first death anniversary.
Omais Farooq resident of Chatapora, in Pulwama South Kashmir was killed in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district last year.
Reports from Pulwama said that all shops and business establishments are closed while as traffic is off the roads.
Early in Morning in chatapor Pulwama heavy stone pelting after government forces deployed in the area fired teargas shells at a group of youth who were installing banners over the grave of the slain militant. Youth responded by hurling rocks at the forces.
