Former union minister Yashwant Sinha led delegation will revisit  Valley on December 10.

As reported by local news agency KNS, the delegation would stay in Kashmir for five days and would meet separatist and unionist leaders.

“The dates have been finalized. We are coming on December 10 and will return to Delhi on December 14,” former divisional commissioner of Kashmir and the chairperson of the National Commission for Minorities Wajahat Habibullah told local agency over phone from Delhi.

He said that the visit is aimed at to continue efforts to reach out people of Kashmir.

“We don’t come to suggest anything to anyone in Kashmir. But we come to talk. During our upcoming visit, we will meet every stakeholder,” he said.

“During this upcoming visit, more reputed personalities are joining us as members for this visit,” he added.

“We are just a group of persons. Our efforts are to reach out people of Kashmir and all other stakeholders,” he said while replying to a question.

He said that they would also call on separatist leaders during their upcoming visit.

Asked about the outcome of their recent visit to Kashmir, he said: “We had a good discussion with all separatist leaders, we with, and representatives of civil and trade organizations. It took place in a cordial atmosphere. We had come with an aim to hold talks and we succeeded in it.”

The other members of the group, which were on three-day visit to Kashmir in October, this year, were Ex-Air vice Marshal Kapil Kak, Executive Director of Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation, Shushoba Bharve, and veteran journalist Bharat Bhushan.
