J&K’s Minister of state for home Sajjad A Kichloo who is in Kishtwar monitoring the situation said it is tense.

“We are trying our level best to manage the situation,” Kichloo told Kashmir Life on phone. “We are persuading army to move out and help restoring normalcy.”

Kichloo who had not much time to talk because he was busy with the crisis management said the fire fighters are working to extinguish fire at isolated places.

He said the state givernment has asked the police reserves from neighboring Doda district to rush to Kishtwar so that they help ease the situation. It will take them three hours to reach here, he said. Kichloo said army was in the process of moving out.
