As per a police spokesperson, situation remained under control throughout Kashmir valley on Saturday in view of a strike call given by the senior separatist leader, Syed Ali Geelani.
Meanwhile some stone pelting incidents were reported from Khanpora-Baramulla, Ajar-Morh-Bandipora and Khawaja Bazar-Khanyar, Srinagar, reads the statement.
Spokesperson further said that the deployments exercised maximum restraint and chased away the ‘miscreants’. There are no reports of injury to anybody so far.
