At least six passengers were injured in a road accident on Thursday in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district when a passenger bus that was travelling from Srinagar to Drang bumped into the wall of power receiving station in Khag.

An official said that the passenger bus was on Drang from Srinagar when the driver lost control and bumped the vehicle into the boundary wall of power receiving station in Khag.

Six persons were reported injured in the accident, he said.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital from where three were referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

The electricity supply to the whole area of Khag Drang has been disconnected after the accident.
