SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has recalled six Junior Scale JKAS officers from the Union Territory of Ladakh and placed 19 other JKAS officers at the disposal of Ladakh on deputation for two years or until further orders.
The orders were issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) on August 25 under Government Order No. 1443-JK(GAD) of 2026, in the interest of administration.
The six officers recalled from Ladakh are Mohammad Ismail Ganie, Imtissal Rasool, Sanjat Bhardwaj, Atul Singh Mankotia, Tufail Iqbal and Waseem Ramzan Dar, all of Junior Scale JKAS.
Following their recall, the services of 19 officers have been placed at the disposal of the UT of Ladakh on deputation with immediate effect.
Those deputed to Ladakh include Special Secretaries Raj Kumar Katoch and Mohammad Latif, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri Mohammad Jhangir, Srinagar DSWO Mohammad Yousuf Ganaie, Tehsildar Nagseni Mohammad Rafie, BDO Panjgrain Shivam Sharma, Functional Manager DIC Rajouri Rafaqat Aziz and STO Circle-I Jammu Ayush Sharma.
The list also includes Functional Manager DIC Anantnag Jasif Amin Sheikh, BDO Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Hadi, Tehsildar Kreeri Yassar Ahmad Bhati, BDO Samba Saqib Sharief Khan, STO Bhuvnesh Pargal, Tehsildar Jourian Deepak Bharti, BDO Larnoo Arshad Hussain, State Taxes Officer Circle N Srinagar Mohammad Anjum, BDO Gool Sadam Hussain, BDO Jakyas Doda Anup Kumar and State Taxes Officer Circle Kishtwar Aju Kundal.
The order states that the deputation will remain in force for two years or until the officers are recalled. Their lien and promotion prospects will remain with the General Administration Department, J&K.
The officers deputed to Ladakh will also be entitled to incentives that may subsequently be made available by the UT administration.
The recalled officers have been deemed relieved with immediate effect and directed to report to the General Administration Department of Ladakh for further posting.
