Six Kashmiri students on Wednesday evening were released from jail after proper verification by Dehradun police.

It is pertinent to mention here that six Kashmiri students were thrashed in CIMS Dehradun on Monday by right activists and RSS goons, later they were arrested by Dehradun police. However Harwala police didn’t take any action against the culprits.

According to reports, all J&K students union discussed whole matter with  IGP CID Abdul Gani Mir, IGP Dehradun SSP harawala, NSUI state president, Director of the concerned College Dr. Jaduan for his positive response, later the issue was resolved.

Director of CIMS College Dehradun Dr. Jaduan while talking with PTK  on phone, said that six Kashmiri students who were in Harawala police custody were released and “we will take strict action against the culprits.”“We have already filed

“We have already filed an FIR against a student who is involved in this case,” said Director.
