Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri Thursday asked the hot mix plant owners to maintain quality and standards.Veeri was speaking at a meeting with representatives of hot mix plant owners in Jammu. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer R&B Jammu Alok Mengi.
Hot mix plant owners assured the Minister that highest standards will be maintained in production. Veeri impressed upon the officers and hot mix plant owners that development is the cornerstone of the government’s resolve and all efforts will be made to ensure that the people reap the benefits of the welfare and development programmes. He further asked the officers to encourage establishment of more hot mix plants in remote areas where such facility is not available yet.
Veeri assured the hot mix plant owners that government is committed to consider their genuine demands.
