Six persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley, police said on Monday.

In Kupwara, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05D-1647 hit and injured Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh a resident of Khawadpora at Khawadpora Karnah. The injured person was later shifted to Sub-District Hospital Tanghdar for treatment.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK04B-1751 and Scooty bearing registration number JK02AK-8583 collided near Marhaba Shopping Complex Qamarwari Srinagar, resulting in injuries to a person identified as Aijaz Ahmad resident of Kargil. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

A private vehicle bearing registration number JK03B-9237 hit a pedestrian Syed Ghulam Hassan resident of Hiller Arhama at Hiller Kokernag. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK22-0353 hit and injured a pedestrian Zakir Ahmad Malik resident of Nain Batpora at Wanpoh. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.

An Alto-800 car bearing registration number JK05E-6361 collided with a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK05E-4327 at Trumbund Tarzoo resulting in injuries to Van driver and another person. Both the injured persons were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
