The State Joint Action Committee of Graduate Engineers on Thursday appealed the Governor administration to fulfill their long pending demands including issuance of ACP approved by the cabinet in 2018, Anomaly JE, a fixed travel allowance and Adhocism.
The SJAC employees led by Er Firdous Bhat, Er Farooq Ganie and Er Irshad Wani held a press conference at the Press Club Srinagar today. While addressing the media persons, they said that engineers have been completely ignored by the Governor led administration and sought an early redressal for issuance of SRO regarding Assured Career Progression (ACP), issuance of orders for pay anomaly error and adhocism scheme of the department.
They said despite assurance by the Hon’ble Governor Satya Pal Malik in February, to the leadership of SJAC, the issue still remains pending.
Talking about the Adhoicism, they said instead of Regular promotions and requested the HRM wings of concerned departments to speed up the process or take initiatives like one time regularization for better public deliverance.
The engineers also stressed upon the early issuance of orders for pay anomaly error existing at JE level from 2010 and enhancement of fixed travel allowance from mere Rs 30 per month fixed 50 years back for site inspection. The members requested the governor led administration to solve the issues at an earliest.
