SRINAGAR: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has secured the 7th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 under the Agriculture and Allied Sectors category. The rankings were released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
According to the official certificate issued under the NIRF framework, SKUAST-K stood out among 78 agriculture universities across India, reflecting its consistent progress in academics, research, and extension services.
University officials hailed the achievement as a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, crediting faculty, researchers, and students for their contribution to agricultural science and technology.
