The slain militants killed in Kulgam gunfight have been identified, reports said on Thursday.
They have been identified as Aqib Itoo of Gopalpora Kulgam and Suhail Rather of Yaripora Kulgam.
Both the militants belonged to Hizb militant outfit, sources said.
Itoo and Ahmad of had joined militant ranks around eight and five months ago.
Both the militants were killed after police and army laid a joint ambush in Gopalpora village of Damhal-Hanjipora area of the district.
