SRINAGAR
An avalanche buried a person in Kangan jungles, police said on Sunday. The body of the deceased was recovered from the snow later.
Abdul Rashid Bijran son of Ghulam Hussain resident of Padpati Poshkar had gone to a nearby jungle in Kangan for collection of fire wood during the day where he came under a snow avalanche.
Later on the villagers recovered his dead body.
Pertinently, authorities had already issued avalanche warning in the hilly area of the valley.
