In a tragic incident in Gurez, two teen aged girls were killed after they came under a heavy snow avalanche Sunday evening.
Sources told Kashmir Life that the two girls 18 and 16 years old Sahfiqa Bano and Dilshada Bano respectively were on way to to get water from the nearby river when they came under the avalanche in a village called Gunde-e-gulsheikh in Gurez.
When after long time, they didn’t return to their respective homes, the massive search was started in the area with the help of the local police.
They sources added that the two were killed and the bodies were later recovered and handed over their relatives.
