The government Saturday said it has spent Rs 258.85 crore under Centre’s National Lake Conservation Project and 87.92 crore under state plan for the development of the twin lakes of Dal and Nigeen.

In a written reply to MLA Eidgarh, Mubarak Gul, the government said an amount of Rs 15.57 crore have been spent on the development of Rakh-i-Arth Colony for Dal dwellers by the end of the financial year 2014-15.

Giving a break-up, the government said some 1729 plots have been developed for the Dal dwellers besides 323 structures constructed at Rakh-i-Arth.
