The greedy son left his mother homeless by inheriting all the property fraudulently. An elderly woman Maqboola Begum wife of Late Noor Mohammad Khan from Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar city told CNS that her son Ishtiyaq Ahmed Khan cheated her by executing a transfer deed fraudulently and transferred all the property to his wife’s name.

“We are owning DHL commercial building at Lambert Lane Regal Chowk. Before leaving for Hajj, I as an affectionate mother gave General Power of Attorney to my son whom I trusted blindly,” she said.

She said that her son never revealed his misdeeds in front of her and the truth came to fore when his son without her consent received a goodwill of Rs 10 Lakhs from a person whom he sold one of the shops from the complex.

“I was shocked to learn that my son had executed transfer deed fraudulently and made her wife Jabeena Khan the sole owner of all my property,” she said adding that after listening the news her another son left for Japan for good and she is all alone living in a small room in this old age.

She said that she fails to understand who signed on the transfer deed on her behalf. “These signatures are forged and my greedy son must be punished,” she said.

The alleged fake transfer deed reads that Jabeena Khan wife of Ishtiyaq Ahmed Khan resident of Jawahar Nagar shall be now the owner of land measuring 9 marlas along with the commercial building under Khasraa number 148 and 149 min situated at Khoti Bagh (Lambert Lane) Tehsil Khas Distric Srinagar.

The old mother who is homeless and without any source now has registered a case in police station Rajbagh. “We have registered a case against her son vide FIR 63/2013 under section 451, 560 and 509 and the investigation is going on,” a police official said.
