SRINAGAR: The Sopore Bypass Bridge has been reopened to vehicular traffic following the completion of repair work, restoring an important road link and easing travel for commuters who had been affected by its temporary closure.
The reopening was made possible through coordinated efforts by Sopore Police, Traffic Police, Municipal Council Sopore and the Civil Administration, which worked together to facilitate repairs and regulate traffic during the closure.
The bridge serves as an important route for people travelling between Sopore and neighbouring areas, including Kupwara, Baramulla, Zaingair, Rafiabad and Bandipora. Its reopening is expected to improve connectivity and reduce inconvenience for commuters.
