SRINAGAR: A militant affiliated with the Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit was killed in an operation at Panipora forest of Zaloora area in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday, an official said.
An official said that one Pakistani militant affiliated with the Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit has been killed in the encounter.
He said that incriminating materials including arms and ammunition were recovered from their procession.

He added that two foreign militants and one local escaped from the cordon and a search operation is going on.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Panipora forest of Zaloora area in Sopore.
