JKLF leader Yasin Malik Monday visited Sopore and marched with people inside streets.

After addressing a gathering at Main Chowk Sopore, Malik led the gathering to Chankhan via Jamia Masjid, Khankah, Sofi Hamam and Batapora before concluding the march at Main Chowk.

While speaking earlier, Malik said: “This (Sopore Killings) is all related to Indian defence minister Manohar Parrikar’s plan of ending ‘terrorism with terrorism’.”

“Sopore is a fort of resistance. Its fall will be detrimental to freedom movement but we won’t let it fall,” he said.

Protesters, comprising of youth, old men and few women shouted anti-India, pro-pakistan, pro-freedom and pro-Geelani slogans.
