SRINAGAR: Three minor girls who had gone missing from the Nunwani area of Brakpora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district were traced within hours and found safe on Saturday, police said.
According to Anantnag Police, the girls, all residents of Nunwani, Brakpora in the Achabal area, had gone missing on Friday evening between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm, triggering a search operation.
In a post shared on social media, Anantnag Police said that swift action by police teams led to the successful tracing of all three minors within hours. The girls were found safe and are set to be handed over to their families after the completion of legal formalities.
Police said the prompt response and coordinated efforts of the teams involved ensured the quick recovery of the missing girls.
