Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta on Sunday inaugurated a JKEDI sponsored Gymnasium and Spa ‘Fitness Box’ here at Channi Himmat in Jammu, a government spokesman said.
Fitness Box is outcome of hard work and dedication of Nishant Sharma, a management graduate and a certified trainer from Jammu city. A budding entrepreneur, Nishant trained and financed for Rs 8 lakh under Youth Start Up Loan Scheme (YSLS) by JKEDI to start his entrepreneurial venture. Nishant has employed two instructors, a receptionist and a house-keeping boy in his gynamsium.
The Speaker appreciated the role of JKEDI and called upon youth to take proper advantage of various entrepreneurship development schemes so that problem of unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir can be addressed. He also expressed happiness over the type of quality, latest equipment and facilities available at M/s Fitness Box.
For the first time in the Jammu, M/s Fitness Box shall be introducing functional training, a new concept in body fitness. EDI was represented by its Chief Program Officer, JKEDI, Majid Manzoor Khan in the function.
