A Special Police Officer (SPO) posted at Pampore town of Pulwama district has fled away with the AK 47 rifle on Tuesday night.
An official said that SPO has fled away from Pampore along with AK 47 during the night. However, it is not confirmed yet whether he has joined militant ranks or not.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the case and investigations have also been taken up.
