SRINAGAR: A Special Police Officer (SPO) died of a heart attack while offering Friday prayers at the District Police Lines (DPL) Budgam.
Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shafeeq, (SPO) a resident of Diver Lolab in Kupwara district.
Shafeeq reportedly collapsed during prayers and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further investigation started. (JKNS)
