SRINAGAR: A Special Police officer of Jammu and Kashmir Police has been killed while as another policeman was injured in an ongoing gunfight in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
An official said that one SPO was killed while as another policeman injured in an ongoing encounter in Beerwah.
He identified the slain SPO as Altaf Ahmad and injured policeman as Manzoor Ahmad.

Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Beerwah village in Budgam.
