The Jammu and Kashmir state sports council is organizing 15 days Snow Skiing Basic Course for boys and girls of Kashmir province from February 18 2017 onwards at Gulmarg.
The spokesperson of sports council said that “keeping in the view the scope and demands for the snow skiing course and in order to revive the winter sports in the state, sports council decided to organize 15 days Snow Skiing Basic Course for boys and girls at Gulmarg.”
He further added that the entry forms can be obtained from office of the Divisional Sports Office Kashmir at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar. Under the age group of 19 can register themselves before February 13, and forms will be issued from February 6-10.
Sports council has set criteria for the basic course of Physical test and Interviews that will be conducted on February 16, 2017 at Indoor Sports Complex.
Secretary sports council, Waheed ur Rehman Parra said that they are trying their best to revive the winter sports activities in the state.
