Clashes erupted near the encounter site between the government forces and youth on Friday in Srigufwara village of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
Reports said that hundreds of youth assembled near the encounter site in Srigufwara village shouting pro-freedom and anti-government slogans, triggering massive clashes.
Government forces retaliated the protestors by tear gas smoke shells and pellets to disperse the protesters.
Pertinent to mention, one civilian, cop have been killed so far during an encounter which broke out on early Friday morning in Srigufwara village of district Islamabad.
Clashes were going on when reports last came in.
