SRINAGAR: Srinagar Airport authorities have clarified that there will be no full airfield closure at the airport this year, and flight operations will continue on all days.
According to an operational update issued by the airport authorities, Srinagar Airport will function daily with operational/watch hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, night closures for runway maintenance will continue until October 2026.
Officials said the previously proposed Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding full runway closure on Mondays and Tuesdays is being withdrawn. Airlines will continue to revise and operate their flight schedules in accordance with the prevailing operational timings.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight status with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport and to rely only on official communication channels for authentic updates.
Authorities also urged travellers to follow updates issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and concerned airlines to avoid inconvenience.
