Popular football player of Kashmir Shabir Ahmad Dar, breathed his last on Saturday at his Natipora residence in Srinagar.
Shabir played for J&K State Road Transport Corporation football Team for more than seven years.
Earlier he assisted the team in All India Police Football Tournament.
Meanwhile, J&K Football Association has consoled Dar’s death.
A statement issued by J&K Football Association said that the association members met in Srinagar under the Chairmanship of Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, District President, DFA Srinagar to console the sad demise.
“The Association prayed to God Almighty for his eternal rest in Jannat-ul-Firdous and courage to the bereaved family,” the statement added.
