SRINAGAR
The Srinagar-Jammu highway was again closed Wednesday due to landslides which occurred as the result of heavy rainfall.
“The road was opened early in the morning and vehicles from Jammu were allowed to move to Srinagar but it has been closed again due to landslides,” a traffic official said.
He stressed that the passengers who intend to move tro and fro on the road must first confirm from the traffic officials whether the road is feasible for plying or not.
