An official from the traffic department said that due to the bad road conditions, only one-way traffic was allowed on the highway and the vehicles will be plying from Srinagar to Jammu.
“Due to the landslides and shooting stones at Batri Chesma the traffic movement was effected for some time on Saturday morning, authorities have started highway clearance operation and are expected to reopen from both the sides soon.,” he added.
