The Srinagar-Jammu highway was re-opened after it was closed for over ten hours following landslides.

“One-way traffic has been restored on the highway,” an official said. The traffic was allowed to ply from Srinagar to Jammu.

Border Roads Organization cleared the debris and paved way for the smooth flow of traffic, reports informed.

Many vehicles were stranded on both sides of the Jawahar Tunnel.

Reports said that three vehicles came under landslides at Ramsoo and Seri. “The passengers on board had a narrow escape,” the official added.
