SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Srinagar on Thursday said to have busted a gang of truck robbers by arresting three accused persons.
According to a post on X, Srinagar Police said that the search for other involved accused persons is going on.
“Srinagar Police busts notorious gang of truck robbers with modus operandi of targeting vehicles plying along NHW robbing drivers of cash, mobile phones & other belongings.
FIR No. 28/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Shalteng,” Srinagar Police on X wrote.
“03 accused persons namely Mohd Amir Keenu S/o Mushtaq Ahmed R/o Palpora, Adnan Shah S/o Mohd Aslam & Imran Shah S/o Gh. Mohd Rs/o Kanipora Nowgam have been arrested & recoveries including mobile phones, gas cylinders made. Search for other accused persons involved underway,” the post reads.
