Srinagar drivers association on Wednesday staged a protest against the harassment of the traffic police department in press colony Srinagar.
The drivers association said that in 2014 they held a meeting with the then SSP traffic Masood Uz Zamaan. “We negotiated all our demands with him. He that time accepted our demands. If those were illegal how could have he accepted them,” the president drivers association, Shamim Ahmad questioned?
On Tuesday traffic police cracked on the traffic violators and seized almost 22 school vans in the city.
These school vans are hired by the parents to ferry their school going children.
