Fayaz Ahmad Sofi son of Mohammad Ashraf resident of Safakadal, Srinagar was drowned near the Aharbal waterfall. Kulgam police has started search operation to retrieve the body of the youth.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Irshad Wani son of Ali Mohammad resident of Mahu Mangat, Banihal was drowned in river Jehlum while extracting sand from it at Shivpora, Srinagar. The body was fished out and handed over to his relatives for last rites.
