Legendary former international cricketer Jonty Rhodes is all-set to visit with his family at the ski resort of Gulmarg in Kashmir, reports said on Wednesday.
Sources, according to reports, said that officials in Kashmir have received feelers that the south African cricketer plans week-long vacations in Kashmir mainly for heli-skiing, his second passion in sporting activities after cricket.
As per sources it will be his third visit to Kashmir. He visited the Valley for the first time in 2011 to test his skills for Heli Skiing and equally learnt snowboarding from a local instructor.
Sources said that the Tourism department has kept fingers crossed over the expected visit by the legendary cricketer.
They said though recently Tourism department had invited Bollywood stars to Kashmir, however none of them turned up citing “security concerns.”
