KL Report

Srinagar

Thirty-six Police and CRPF men including a Superintendent, a Deputy Superintendent and an assistant commandant of CRPF, were injured in different stone pelting incidents in district Srinagar, in last one month, a police statement claims.

But as per the police statements released earlier, during last one month, situation remained “peaceful” and only a few “minor stone pelting incidents” took place.

Some curious civilians while talking to Kashmir Life, wishing anonymity, wanted to know, “If situation was normal then how 36 armed police and CRPF were injured?”

Besides, police also informed that an Inspector, 04 Sub Inspectors, 03 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 02 Head Constables, 22 constables of police, CRPF and an SPO were injured at different places while maintaining “peace” in Srinagar.
