Education Minister Sakina Masood Itoo, in a post on X, confirmed the development, stating, “As already assured, the government has directed JKBOSE authorities to issue admit cards to the remaining candidates for appearing in Class 10th, 11th, and 12th board examinations.”

Meanwhile, Joint Secretary of JKBOSE, Suraj Rathore, told JKNS that a student from Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Khanyar, Toiba Yaqoob, who was previously left out, will now be allowed to sit for the exams. “Her roll number slip will be issued tomorrow,” he added.

The decision has come as a significant relief for affected students and their parents, who had earlier expressed concern over the uncertainty regarding their exams. (JKNS)
