Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) J&K Friday denounced false and frivolous charges against the world renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik which is an infringement of the fundamental right to profess, propagate and practice one’s religion and faith.
“… (It is) also an act of intimidation so as to forcibly stop him from carrying on his noble mission to serve the Truth as contained in the Book of Allah and the traditions of the holy Messenger of Allah may peace be upon him,” JeI said in a statement this afternoon.
Jama’at also expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the attitude of “some Muslim clerics who supported the inhuman action of BJP government”.
“At this juncture, every sane Muslim should condemn the unjustified government action otherwise time will come when the recitation of the Qur’an may be banned and there will be no one to support the Muslims,” the statement said. “The Muslims should unite against the anti- Islamic forces instead of fighting in between themselves.”
Jama’at demands to “stop harassing this great preacher of Islam as it has no justification and moral sanction at all”.
I had seen lot’s of lecture, i never found anything he telling against of humanity. I understand the media what blasphemy they did against dr naik its totally condemned. Also i know these guy truth seeker. When he say i am ready to accept Christianity proof me Jesus pbuh said i am God and worship me. But no Christian schoollar ever i had seen they accept the challenge. Stop media he is good guy. Don’t be transgress.

Dr. Zakir Naik is innocent and vilification of such great personalities of libelling them is highly condemnable. We stongly suport him as none of his lectures(among thousands of them ) are anti social.

I wish I could do something to stop this nuisance.How can the muslim clerics afford to tell lies ?? Why cant the people realize this obvious conspiracy? Why didnt the govt get any idea of Zakir Naik’s intentions all these years? He has delivered more than 4000 speeches attended by all communities. Could no one complain anytime ? Now the govt will scan ALL(4000 +) his speeches,Does it sound sensible?
