SRINAGAR: Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991), has been appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF) for the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the AGMUT cadre.
According to an order issued by the Government of India, Suresh Kumar Gupta, currently serving as PCCF (Ex-cadre) in the UT of J&K, will assume the role in Level-17 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary of Rs 2,25,000 per month.
The order specifies that his appointment will take effect from February 1, 2025, following the superannuation of the present incumbent on January 31, 2025, and subsequent assumption of charge by Gupta.
It is noteworthy that Suresh Kumar Gupta is also currently serving as Principal Secretary to the J&K Government, School Education Department. (JKNS)
