SRINAGAR: Former Member of Legislative Council of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary resigned from the BJP and joined the National Conference.
Soon after quitting the party, Choudhary tweeted, “Goodbye BJP. Ravinder Raina (J&K BJP chief) enjoy with your “Parivharbad” and Corruption.”

Choudhary, who was previously in PDP, lost the Assembly seat from Naushera constituency to BJP candidate Ravinder Raina in 2014 elections.
He joined the BJP last year. Choudhary, however, in the presence of former chief minister and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah, joined the party at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan.
