SRINAGAR
Suspected militants Sunday late evening attacked infamous Ikhwan commander Abdul Rashid Parray alias Rashid Billa, leaving him dead.
According to reports, suspected militants barged in his home and fired indiscriminately. He died on the spot.
Dreaded renegade of his time, Rashid was said to be involved in killing of seven civilians, what is known as Saderkote Massacre. He was evading arrest in case a 21-year-old case in which police had filed FIR no.125/1996.
