As per the reports, 44 RR Army was fired upon by suspected militants Wednesday afternoon at Voterpora in South Kashmir’s Shopian district during a cordon in the area.
The locals said that army appeared in Thiaraan Imam Sahib area of Shopian, laid cordon before some gunmen fired at them. In the attack, locals said, one army man suffered a bullet injury on his neck.
