Unidentified gunmen Friday opened fire on police in Kulgam resulting in the death of two policemen and critically injuring one, reports said.
Police sources said three personnel of IRP were outside District Police Lines Kulgam when militants fired at them.
The slain duo have been identified as Tanveer Ahmad, Head Constable; Jalaluddin, a Constable, while the injured has been identified as Shamsuddin, a Head Constable.
